Pop Along to Weymouth Beach Tomorrow! 
Looking for something fun, free and eco-friendly to do? Head to the promenade opposite the King’s Statue on Wednesday 29 July, between 11am and 3pm, where Weymouth Town Council, Litter Free Dorset and the Weymouth & Portland Marine Litter Project will be raising awareness about keeping our beautiful coastline clean.
There’s plenty to get involved with, including:
Create your own refreshing mocktail or relax under the gazebo at the tap water bar (don’t forget your reusable water bottle!)
Meet the friendly Beach Rangers.
Borrow pre-loved beach toys from the toy library. Discover more about plastic pollution, recycling and some of the unusual items found during beach cleans.
Fancy making a difference? You can also borrow a litter-picking kit and, as a thank you, receive a free ice cream in exchange for a bag of litter collected! 
It’s a great way to enjoy the seafront, help protect the environment and learn more about reducing waste.
