Weymouth Museum offers visitors the chance to learn about the fascinating history of the town, and browse unique exhibits and artworks throughout the ages.

For over thirty years Weymouth Museum has been situated in a grade II listed Victorian Brewery off Hope Square. However, we have moved temporarily to a pop-up shop at 40b St Thomas Street Weymouth while the Brewers Quay building is refurbished. When we return, in about two years, we will occupy a bigger, more central space in the building which will allow us to display far more of our collection. The intention of the pop – up shop is to introduce the collection to a new audience and put a different spin on our collection for our repeat visitors We will through changing displays show a range and depth of items and stories we hold. We will focus on social history to tell the unique story of the town.
