About
The Black Dog Pub is the oldest pub Weymouth has to offer. The pub is under new management and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
The Black Dog was built as an inn in the late 16th century and is one of the few remaining buildings left in the town from this time. Preserving the best of the past and enhancing the present the pub features all the modern essentials whilst staying true to its historic and traditional roots.
Oak beams, cosy nooks and a roaring wood burner invite you inside Weymouth’s oldest public house whilst our well stocked bar and our friendly team will make you want to stop for a while. Standing proudly on St Mary Street we are just a stone’s throw from Weymouth’s beautiful award winning beach and the thriving high street making us the perfect destination to relax and refresh.
Choose from a selection of casks of Real Ale Weymouth can be proud of, draught beer, wine and spirits or from our range of soft drinks. Our traditional bar menu offers a mouth-watering range of home cooked and locally sourced food with something to suit all tastes.
