We Are Weymouth, Weymouth’s Business Improvement District, has teamed up with Air 107.2 FM to launch a new events and gig listing guide, going live today.
The guide gives Weymouth’s local businesses, promoters and venues a direct route to get their events and gigs viewed and heard across the town. Anything from a live music night at a pub to a large scale festival or a fundraiser can now be listed and shared with Air 107.2’s listeners, transforming the way local events are promoted across the town.
It’s not just a one line mention either. Events submitted through the guide get regular slots on air, promoted repeatedly. For anyone trying to fill a room or sell tickets, that ongoing airtime is a huge boost.
The agreement sees AIR 107.2 FM manage and promote We Are Weymouth’s official events and gig listings platform, combining an easy to use online events guide with regular radio promotion to help businesses, venues and organisers reach wider audiences.
Under the partnership, organisers can submit everything from live music, theatre productions and festivals to charity fundraisers, markets, sporting events and family activities. Events will not only appear on the official We Are Weymouth listings platform but will also receive regular promotion on AIR 107.2 FM, giving them repeated exposure to listeners across the area.
Getting listed is straightforward: submit your event details through Air 107.2 FM, or get in touch with the station directly. Air 107.2 will also be sending someone round to visit businesses and event organisers in person.
