The Loom is coming to The Upwey Wishing Well

This summer and autumn, our gardens and tearoom will become the setting for two magical evenings of storytelling, connection and community for women.
The Loom brings together personal stories, memories, myths and traditional folk tales, shared by a carefully selected group of women in a warm and supportive space. Whether you come for inspiration, connection or simply to enjoy an evening of beautiful storytelling, you are invited to sit back, listen and experience the power of stories shared together.
Tuesday 11 August: A Line in the Sand
Tuesday 13 October: Haunted
Arrive from 6pm to enjoy the gardens and an optional light supper before the storytelling begins at 7.15pm.
Choose from a delicious Vegetarian Grazing Plate featuring a Buddha bowl, falafel, hummus, roasted beetroot, maple glazed walnuts and seeds, served with sourdough bread, or a warming bowl of homemade pumpkin soup with bread. Drinks and homemade cakes will also be available to purchase throughout the evening.
The stories finish at 9pm.
Held amongst the spring waters and tranquil gardens of The Upwey Wishing Well, these intimate evenings offer a chance to pause, connect and be part of something truly special.
Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended
